New York City Football Club will host Rochester New York in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in the Round of 32.

Courtesy of December’s 2021 MLS Cup win, Ronny Deila’s side will enter the competition following the conclusion of this week’s third round ties.

This will be the first meeting between the two clubs, following Rochester New York’s penalty shootout win over FC Motown in the Third Round.

This match will mark our first return to U.S. Open Cup action since 2019 when NYCFC reached the quarterfinals thanks to wins over North Carolina FC and D.C. United.

Ticket details will be released in due course for the match which will take place at Belson Stadium at St. John’s University on Wednesday, May 11.
