New York City Football Club can today announce that Midfielder Matías Pellegrini has been claimed off waivers.
Pellegrini returns to New York after being acquired in August of last season. The Argentine made four appearances in the regular season, in addition to two appearances in the 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs.
