yt call ups

Four New York City Football Club players have been selected to represent the United States U-16 Men's Youth National Team at the 2023 International Dream Cup.

Andrew Baiera, Christian McFarlane, Maximo Carrizo and Jonathan Shore have all been included in Michael Nsien’s 20-player Under-16 squad.

The Stars and Stripes are set to take on Japan, the Netherlands and Nigeria at the tournament in Fukushima, Japan, competing at J-Village Stadium between May 25 and June 5.

NYCFC is the most represented Club with a total of four players on the roster, boasting two defenders and two midfielders.

Head Coach Nsien, who took charge of the team in November, included Baiera and Shore in his first training camp of the year in January, while McFarlane and Carrizo have previously represented the England U16 and Argentina U17 Youth National Teams respectively.
