New York City FC midfielder Mix Diskerud has been called up to the United States National Team for a pair of friendlies.
The United States play the Netherlands on June 5 (2:30 p.m. ET; ESPN, UniMas, UDN) and Germany on June 10 (2:45 p.m. ET; Fox Sports 1, UniMas, UDN).
Mix has five goals in 28 appearances with the senior team. He most recently started and played 80 minutes in the United States' 2-0 victory over rival Mexico on April 15.
New York City FC, which drew 1-1 with Houston on May 30, return to the field against the Philadelphia Union on Saturday. Kickoff is 7 p.m. ET at PPL Park in Chester, Pa.
