New York City FC forward Khiry Shelton has been selected to represent the Under-23 US Men’s National Team and play in two playoff matches to help the United States qualify for the Olympics.
Shelton and the Under-23 US Men’s National Team will play against Colombia in hopes of helping the United States qualify for the Olympics. The first match against Colombia is on March 25 at 6pm ET (Fox Sports 1) and the other match is March 29 at 9:30pm ET (ESPN2). Shelton was called up to the US Men’s National Team camp this winter and dressed for the Canada match but did not play.
The striker has played three matches this season and has recorded a goal and an assist for NYCFC.
