Injury Report: Three Out of Action for Toronto

Injury Report Matarrita

Ronald Matarrita’s injury ahead of the World Cup with Costa Rica adds him to the pair of Yangel Herrera and Cedric Hountondji as Boys in Blue who will miss out when the defending MLS Cup champions come to town.

Rodney Wallace remains with Costa Rica, who fought hard but ultimately fell 2-0 to Brazil in their second group stage match. A World Cup debut could be in the cards for the NYC winger when the Ticos take on Switzerland in their final group stage match in Russia.

The rest of the squad will be raring to go after a short World Cup group-stage break from league matches.

The Bronx will be bouncing…
