Injury Report: Matarrita and Shelton Still Missing

Atlanta Injury Report

There are no new injuries to report ahead of NYCFC’s first meeting with Atlanta United.

Ronald Matarrita and Khiry Shelton are still on the sidelines and unavailable for selection for the visit of Gerardo Martino’s team.

Matarrita has been missing since April 20 with a high ankle sprain, while Shelton is coming back from a hamstring strain.

Both players have returned to the field to train in the last couple of days but are yet to take a full part in a session with their teammates.

Yangel Herrera is available for selection for the final time before he joins up with the Venezuelan U20 National Team for their U20 World Cup campaign.

For Atlanta, top-scorer Josef Martinez is still working his way back from a left quad injury, Zach Loyd has a problem with his groin and Jacob Peterson is rated as “out” on MLSSoccer.com.
