David Villa has moved on to the finals of AT&T MLS Goal of the Week for week 34.
In Sunday's 4-1 win over Columbus Crew SC, David Villa scored his 23rd goal of the season on the final play of the game. Mendoza, Harrison, and Shelton each scored a goal and Villa put the finishing touches on the celebration in second-half stoppage time with a side volley from just outside the 18-yard box.

The win resulted in NYCFC clinching second place in the Eastern Conference for NYCFC, which has a bye into the two-legged Eastern Conference Semifinals.
