Next Second Screen Show:
Saturday, May 15th vs. Toronto, presented by Dumbo – 12:20pm
NYCFC is proud to offer an interactive second-screen experience for all 2021 home matches so that fans can experience the in-stadium atmosphere from the comfort and safety of their own homes. The second-screen show will begin 40 minutes prior to each home match and will serve as a complement to the live broadcast on the YES Network. Fans are encouraged to watch all of the action on YES and have their cell phones or laptops open to the brand new second-screen show to participate. Fans attending the match are also encouraged to follow along on their cell phones as a complement to the live action, and will have the ability to interact with other supporters following along at home to create a shared matchday experience for all.
Fans will be treated to the in-venue scoreboard show, halftime entertainment, interactive games, original programming, and will have the opportunity to accumulate points and win prizes throughout the season. The second-screen show will feature Glenn Crooks’ radio-call of the match, streamed directly from the NYCFC Radio Network.
Second Screen Matchday Highlights:
- Live Entertainment: Tune-in early for DJ Mode’s mix, NYCFC warmups, live player stats, and the National Anthem prior to kickoff
- In-Game Favorites: Watch the pre-match show open, player walkouts, starting lineups, and smoke stacks. Stay tuned for all of your favorite in-stadium entertainment elements throughout the match and at halftime
- Interactive Games: Join in with interactive gaming, trivia, polling, and more throughout the entirety of the match
- Fan Photos: Post your matchday photos on social media using #NYCFC for a chance to have them displayed on the second-screen platform and on the video boards in-venue
*Due to broadcast rights, live gameplay will not be shown in the second-screen experience. The second-screen experience is meant to act as a complement to the television broadcast for viewers at home, and to enhance the live experience of the limited attendees at matches. The radio-call of the match will be streamed onto the platform directly from the NYCFC Radio Network.
