Become the Next Gaming Content Creator for NYCFC! (Freelance)
The NYCFC Content Creator will be responsible for creating entertaining esports and gaming content to be distributed on NYCFC social channels. The NYCFC Content Creator will be an ambassador of the NYCFC brand and will partner with the club’s content team, representing the club in a variety of online and offline content, including on the creator’s own social media channels (Twitter / X, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitch). The areas of concentration include recurring videos featuring relevant NYCFC personas (First and Second Team players, NYCFC Esports players, Academy/Youth players, fans, other influencers, etc) as well as other relevant content strands. (Note this is a freelance position)
Primary Duties / Expectations:
- Creating online and offline esports and gaming content for the club’s social media
- Create and maintain an online gaming-passionate fanbase for NYCFC
- Host 1 club-branded livestream and create 2 additional videos per month featuring relevant NYCFC personas
- Be a leading face of the club’s esports and gaming fan-communication for the whole duration of the 23/24 competitive EA Sports FC 24 season
- Other relevant esports partner duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Existing gaming / esports fanbase on social media
- Presence across variety of social media channels
- Passion for gaming and content creation
- Over the age of 18
- Based in New York City
