Scheduled during Homecoming Week, the 2024 City Member Kickoff Event will be held on March 3rd at the iconic NYC observatory, Edge at Hudson Yards! Edge is the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere. Its one-of-a-kind design suspends you in mid-air — you’ll feel like you’re floating in the sky with 360-degree views you can’t find anywhere else. We’re another week closer to the beginning of the 2024 MLS Regular Season! We hope that you are just as excited as we are to kick off the new season and cheer on the Boys in Blue!
Following the announcement of the schedule, and in anticipation of the start of the season, we wanted to share some important information about your City Membership for 2024.
2024 City Member Schedule and Variable Pricing Information
Below, please find key information for our upcoming 2024 schedule and your City Membership variable pricing.
_*Member Add-On price and Individual Ticket Starting Price are based on per ticket pricing for same seating category as your membership seats.
The above information and pricing breakdown can also be found throughout the season in your Account Manager under the “Invoice” tab beginning February 1st._
2024 Exclusive Member Pre-Sale - Coming Soon!
Ahead of our February 5th general ticket on-sale, City Members will have the opportunity to manage their 2024 City Membership tickets starting on Thursday, February 1st at 10:00 AM through NYCFC Account Manager. Once live, you will be able to manage and transfer your tickets for 2024 accordingly. Please note, that our final two matches of the season, which the venue has yet to be confirmed, will not be available to manage at this time. More information below.
Additionally, all City Members will be given an exclusive 4-day Pre-Sale window to purchase additional tickets to matches at a preferred City Member add-on rate that will, as always, be the lowest pricing available for our matches.
2024 Home Match vs. Inter Miami CF
As we embark on the 2024 season with our highly anticipated match vs. Inter Miami CF on September 21st at Yankee Stadium, we’d like to provide some additional information.
Our general ticket on-sale that begins on February 5th will not include the opportunity to purchase single match tickets to Inter Miami. With that being said, we want to provide Members with priority access to a special and limited, initial release of tickets to purchase additionally.
During our City Member Pre-Sale from February 1st through February 4th, Members will receive priority access to a limited release of tickets for these 4 days only! As a Member, you will have the opportunity to purchase up to a total of 8 additional tickets at the discounted City Member add-on rate for this match.
Over the coming months, we anticipate there being more opportunities to access additional tickets but this will be our initial release of tickets exclusively for City Members only.
An added benefit during this pre-sale window - Members that purchase add-on tickets to our home match versus Inter Miami will be bonused an equal number of tickets to our home opener on March 9th vs. Portland for FREE! Be sure to secure your tickets early as this opportunity will only run through February 4th.
Please note, that discounted City Member add-on tickets are not eligible to be resold. City Member add-on tickets found to be resold may be subject to cancellation.
City Member Ticket Trade-In
As in previous season’s our City Member benefits will continue to include flexibility that will allow you to trade-in or exchange up to 6 matches throughout the 2024 season. Similarly, unchanged for 2024, all applicable credit that is associated with the trade-in program must be utilized throughout the 2024 regular season, and will not be eligible to be rolled over to playoff matches or future seasons.
For the 2024 season, the Inter Miami CF match on September 21st at Yankee Stadium will be considered a blackout date and ticket trade-in credit will not be eligible to be used for the purchase of additional tickets or to upgrade your tickets for this match.
Leagues Cup Information
Consistent with 2023, our first, group stage home match of Leagues Cup will be included in your City Membership, for no additional cost. Currently, information surrounding this match, including opponent, date, time and venue has not been determined. Once there is more information surrounding this season’s Leagues Cup competition, we will be sure to communicate with all City Members first.
October Regular Season Matches
As released, the last two matches of the season are listed as TBD in venue. Due to the MLB playoff schedule, Yankee Stadium and Citi Field are unable to currently guarantee us either of those dates. Therefore, the pricing for those matches will reflect the lowest game by game price, in the event we would play at Red Bull Arena. If either, or both, of these games are able to be played at Yankee Stadium or Citi Field, the price of your tickets for these games will not change (will stay in the lowest pricing tier). As in years past, matches played outside the five boroughs remain optional as a Member. You will have the option to opt out of these matches this summer and receive the allocated money to use towards a different match, so it will not count against your six (6) trade ins for the season.

We hope you’re having a good start to 2024 and are excited for the start of the new season as much as we are! With preseason underway and the regular season starting in just over a month, we have some important information around this year’s Away Tickets and our Road Blues Program that we wanted to share with you.
Please see below for the 2024 away match schedule which includes the corresponding on-sale date exclusively for City Members for each away match. Each on-sale date, you will be able to purchase away tickets starting at 10:00 AM by visiting the New York City FC Road Blues page.
2024 City Member Away Ticket Program Rules and Benefits
As in year’s past, New York City FC will continue to provide City Member’s with discounted away tickets through our subsidized away ticket program. Pricing will remain at $10 for all matches except for the below, which will start at $25:
- at Inter Miami CF on Saturday, March 30
- at NY Red Bulls on Saturday, September 28
For 2024, away matches will be categorized into tiers based on the chart above. City Members may purchase away tickets at the City Member rate per the rules below:
- Tier A1 – equal to the number of City Memberships with a maximum of 2 tickets per account at the City Member rate
- Tier B and C – equal to the number of City Memberships with a maximum of 4 tickets per account at the City Member rate
Please note away tickets for our Tier A2 match at Philadelphia on Wednesday, May 15 will be available through a lottery system due to the demand of this match and the limited ticket allotment that the Club receives.
2024 City Member Away Travel Rewards Program
For 2024, we are excited to share that we will be unveiling an away travel rewards program for qualified City Members, including an overall reward for the 3 most travelled City Members in 2024! If you are a City Member in good standing, you will receive a reward based on the number of away matches you attend.
Should there be more than one person tied for the top 3 spots, the following tiebreakers in order will determine the winner – Mileage traveled, number of home games attended and if needed, a coin flip.

Dear City Members,
I hope you and your families are doing well as we enter the final month of 2023. I know you’ve heard a lot from me lately, but I have some exciting news to share with you about our stadium project, and I wanted to make sure we continue to keep you informed on our progress.
Last night, we had our latest meeting with Queens Community Board 7, where they held their vote on whether or not to recommend the approval of our stadium project and the larger Willets Point redevelopment. I’m thrilled to share with you that Community Board 7 overwhelmingly voted in favor of approving our project with a 37-2 vote!
When we announced our stadium project last year, we were committed to meaningfully engaging with the local community throughout this process, and last night’s vote is a testament to that commitment. This project needs to, and will be, more than just a place for our Club to play soccer games, but also a community asset. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Community Board 7 for the productive dialog and getting us one step closer to realizing our goal of building a permanent home for NYCFC that is for all New Yorkers. I’d also like to acknowledge and thank Council Member Francisco Moya for his leadership and for playing an instrumental role in getting us to where we are today. We have a shared vision to see Queens become the hub of New York City soccer and bring our permanent home to life in the World’s Borough.
Importantly, I’d also like to express my deepest gratitude to you – our most passionate fans. You have played an important part in this journey. Countless many of you have come to these community board meetings to show your support for our project, testified on our behalf, signed petitions and done everything we could have asked to help get us this far. I want to also be clear that while this is an important step of ULURP, we are still early in this process. Our project has more steps to go, but we continue to make positive strides to building our stadium and permanent home!

Hi City Members,
I hope you’re having a good week! I know you just heard from me, but as I mentioned in my last email to you all, we have some new and exciting details about our stadium project that I wanted to share with you.
Back in April, I shared with you our five key design priorities for our future stadium. We remain deeply committed to these priorities, and as a reminder, I’ve included them again below:
- Creating the best live fan experience in NYC sports
- Building a stadium that authentically represents our city
- Ensuring our stadium is embedded in the community
- Integrating technology to make a future-forward stadium
- Constructing a stadium that will be a model of sustainability
Last night at a Queens Community Board 7 meeting, we provided a significant update regarding our stadium project, including an exciting update that relates to our priority of constructing a stadium that will be a model of sustainability.
I’m happy to share with you all that our future stadium will be the FIRST-EVER fully electric soccer stadium in MLS, and the ONLY professional sports and entertainment venue in New York City that is fully electric! The Club is committed to running our stadium with renewable energy and will also install an array of solar panels on the roof as well.
In addition to having an all-electric stadium, the Club is committed to sustainability throughout the entire process of building and operations, including having a water harvesting system below the field to capture rainwater, working to be a zero-waste stadium and much more. If you’re interested in learning more about our commitment to sustainability in this project, you can read more on our website.
We have a responsibility to the local and larger New York community with this project, and I’m proud to share these details with you today. Thank you for being on this journey with the Club. I hope this note finds you well. I'm writing today to share some truly exciting news about our stadium project.
After many positive meetings with Queens Community Board 7, local stakeholders and residents, elected officials, labor unions and more, I'm excited to inform you that today, our stadium project, alongside the entire second phase of the Willets Point development, has officially entered the Uniform Land Use Review Procedure (ULURP) approval process, bringing us one HUGE step closer to seeing our dream realized of building a permanent home for NYCFC!
As a reminder, ULURP is the process that proposed development projects in New York City go through that engages the local community and grants approval to begin construction. The ULURP process is time-restricted, meaning the entire approval process is designed to take no longer than 7 months.
Today, the Department of City Planning presented our project to the City Planning Commission at a CPC review session. During the meeting, the presenters shared some updated images of our proposed stadium project that I'm equally excited to share with you as well.

As we head into the middle of July, the start of the highly anticipated Leagues Cup is right around the corner, with 47 MLS and Liga MX clubs competing for silverware and a spot in next season’s Concacaf Champions Cup. Your support for the Boys in Blue has been incredible this season, and we’re looking forward to seeing that continue for the new and reimagined Leagues Cup!
Following the completion of our 2023 Red Bull Arena opt out window, we wanted to communicate important information surrounding any potential additional Leagues Cup matches.
We will be implementing our pay-as-we-play system for all subsequent Leagues Cup matches. Meaning, as we advance, your seats will automatically be uploaded and charged for the following round. The time, date, and opponent of the Round of 32 will be announced following the July 26th match vs Toronto.
Leagues Cup Pricing
- If you choose to opt-in to your preferred pricing Leagues Cup strip, the price of your ticket(s) for the Round of 32 will be $xxx and will be charged within 48 hours of confirmation we will be hosting the following round.
- If you do not wish to opt-in to the full strip, you will still have access to purchase individual matches at a higher price.
- Your Leagues Cup seating location at Red Bull Arena will be the best available in your price class.

You will have the opportunity to opt out of Red Bull Arena matches from May 22nd through June 16th. In the form below, you will see the September 23rd and October 21st matches scheduled at Red Bull Arena during our regular season play - as well as our 2nd round Leagues Cup game on July 26th.
Due to the MLB playoff schedule, Yankee Stadium and Citi Field are unable to guarantee us these dates in September or October. If either, or both, of these games are able to be played at Yankee Stadium or Citi Field, the price of your tickets for these games will not change (will stay in the lowest pricing tier).
Important Information:
Use your personal form to make your decision on the Red Bull Arena matches on your Account.
- On this form, you will be able to select which matches you would like to keep your seats and/or which matches you would like to return.
- The 2nd group stage Leagues Cup match against Toronto will also be played at Red Bull Arena. For your convenience, Members will have their seating locations automatically uploaded for this match. If you would like to opt out of your seats for this match, you can select this option in the above opt out form. Should you not opt out of this match, the cost of your seats will be charged on July 15th.
- You will see your preloaded Red Bull Arena seating location in your NYCFC Account Manager. You will now be able to fully manage your tickets to these matches online through your Account Manager.

We're excited to see you all tomorrow for our Citi Field Opener in Queens against Nashville. Be sure to get there early for our first fan fest of the season, starting at 5:00pm! Additionally, as Brad mentioned in his email earlier today about the exciting appointment of HOK and Turner Construction, keep an eye on your inboxes next week for a fan survey that will help us design our future home.
Seat selection for NYCFC’s future home will go in order of cumulative membership tenure. While we still need to go through the public approval process, your current cumulative tenure as a City Member will directly impact your priority in the seat selection process for seats at our future soccer specific stadium. The more years you have been a member at time of seat selection, the higher in line you will be to claim your preferred seating location in the venue. As always, our Founding Members, who have not lapsed in their membership from the first year will have first priority.
As you may remember, payments for City Memberships run on a May-April cycle. As such, we wanted to share your 2024 City Membership information with you:

This morning, NYCFC announced HOK and Turner Construction Company will design and build New York City's first ever soccer-specific stadium. To help us and HOK design our future home, we need your input. Please be on the lookout next week for a fan survey. Your input will be vital in guiding the stadium's design that we will submit later this year as we begin the approval process.
As we do each season by April 15th, later today our Ticketing team will send further information about your 2024 City Membership, including an important update about how your current cumulative tenure will directly impact your priority order in the seat selection process for our future stadium.

City Members,
Thank you for showing your support at our home opener last Saturday. We had a massive turnout and secured the first home win of the season! We look forward to having you all back at Yankee Stadium this Saturday for our 7:30pm match vs D.C. United.
We wanted to follow up with an update on the next opportunity to pick up your City Member annual gift. You will be able to pick up your gift prior to our 7:30pm match on April 15th at Citi Field. The gift pick up will take place during our Fan Festoutside of the Jackie Robinson Rotunda prior to entering the venue.
All City Member stadium discount cards can now also be accessed digitally in your account manager as well. If you have not picked up your card, the discounts will be honored by showing this digital discount card at concessions and the merchandise store at Yankee Stadium. This card is titled ‘2023 Member Stadium Discount’ and can be found in your NYCFC Account Manager under ‘Access My Tickets’. It will be located at the bottom of the page.
If you will not be able to attend the April 15th match and have not picked up your gift, please reach out to your NYCFC rep with questions about alternative ways to pick up your gift. We look forward to seeing you back in the Bronx tomorrow!

The 2023 Season has officially kicked off and we cannot wait to see you this Saturday, March 11th at 7:30 PM, for our Home Opener as the Boys in Blue take on Inter Miami CF at Yankee Stadium!
If you did not pick up your annual member gift at Sunday’s event, you will be able to do so upstairs at Billy’s Fan Fest from 5:00-7:00 PM ahead of the match on Saturday.
Additionally, as your NYCFC account representative, I wanted to reach out to provide you with a couple of reminders and helpful links prior to the start of our home season.
MLS Season Pass on Apple TV:
On February 1st all City Members received their unique code to redeem your MLS Season Pass on Apple TV for FREE. If you have not yet redeemed your pass, please refer to that email to walk you through steps to redeem. If you do not redeem your pass, you will not have access to stream all 2023 MLS matches this season - with NO blackouts.
Ticketing:
Your tickets will all be accessible via the mobile app. If you have any questions on mobile ticketing, including purchasing add-on tickets, posting for resale, transferring to a friend, or performing a trade-in, click HERE.
Trade-ins:
You will be able to perform up to (6) trade-ins this season. Each trade must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the match. All trade in credit can be used for upgrading your seats or adding on tickets to a match. You can apply trade in credit towards a private suite experience. Trade in credit must be used before the end of the regular season and will not roll over to 2024.

Mastercard® wants to help you Start Something Priceless™ by allowing you to reserve seats at a 2023 NYCFC regular season home match of your choice to bring out your friends and family.
Previously, all City Members received physical cards and codes to redeem their (4) free Blue Card tickets. This year, your complimentary Blue Card tickets can be found in your Account Manager as vouchers. The vouchers are loaded into your account now to exchange for matches this season. Group Outings:
As a valued City Member, you are able to receive discounts on group outings of 10 or more tickets and on private suite spaces. This is a fun way to celebrate with family, friends or host your company and co-workers at a match. Please reach out for more information and availability!
