Who is eligible for $10 away match tickets?

In order to receive this benefit, you must be a registered member of The Third Rail or be a City Member. Each City Member or Supporter may receive (1) $10 ticket for every full season seat or supporter membership on their account, whichever is greater. They may not be combined. Any additional requested tickets would be at full cost.

This does not guarantee you a ticket to each away match, as group priority, venue restrictions, ticket allotment will dictate availability.

How do I get tickets in the Visiting Supporters Section at an away match?

There are two ways in which to get tickets within the Visiting Supporters Section at NYCFC away matches:

  • You can purchase tickets directly through the Registered Supporter Groups (RSG’s). RSG’s have first priority to the ticket allotment up until the release date listed on the schedule tab.
  • Once the release date for the specified match has passed, all tickets will be prioritized through the ticket allocation order via the NYCFC website. Tickets will be distributed on a first come, first serve basis.

To access the registration form, click on “TICKETS” at the top of the website and follow this to “AWAY MATCH TICKETS”. Once at the away match ticket page, proceed to the link of the match you would like to attend.

Ticket Allocation Priority

We have worked with our Registered Supporters Groups to give them an exclusive window to matches, where tickets may only be purchased through one of the groups based on a tiered ranking system. The tier ranking system for matches considers the overall allotment and demand for the match. Should you wish to guarantee a ticket within the priority window, please reach out to the Third Rail or New York City Supporters Club about purchasing a ticket. All discounts will still apply.

Tier I Games

The Registered Supporters Group exclusive window will be 6 weeks prior to the scheduled date of the match.

Tier II Games

The Registered Supporters Group exclusive window will be 10 weeks prior to the scheduled date of the match.

Tier III Games

There will be no exclusive window for Registered Supporter Groups and tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis.

When will tickets become available?

Tickets will be made available to most matches starting at the end of January. Ticket allotments will close roughly 2 weeks in advance of the match subject to change.

How do I know my request has been confirmed?

Once you have completed and submitted your request, you’ll get a confirmation email that it was received. AT THIS POINT, TICKETS ARE NOT GUARANTEED. Once the listed release date for that match is reached, and pending availability of tickets, requests will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. This process will continue until the allotment of tickets is sold out or all requests have been filled, whichever comes first. You will get a second email once we have allocated all the tickets notifying you that you will have the opportunity to purchase or the available allotment has been sold out.

I want to request a ticket but it says requests are closed. What should I do?

To see what your options are, please Contact Us. In the future, please place all orders prior to the deadline closing date listed on the main ticket page.

How many tickets can I request?

Each person can request up to 4 tickets per registration form. Should you request more than 1 ticket, you will be required to provide the name of each guest you are bringing. All guests must present a valid photo ID to redeem their ticket on match day. Each City Member or Supporter may receive (1) $10 ticket for every full season seat or supporter membership on their account, whichever is greater. They may not be combined. Any additional requested tickets would be at full cost.

Am I guaranteed a ticket?

No. Due to venue and visiting supporter section capacities, as well as other various factors, some requests may not be granted. In order to improve your chances of getting a ticket, you should request a ticket through one of the Registered Supporter Groups.

How and when will I receive my ticket?

The Visiting Supporters Plan will be sent out 2-3 days in advance of the match with all ticket collection information. If tickets are distributed at the stadium on match day, all guests must present a valid photo ID to redeem their ticket.

What are the expectations of fans who travel to away matches?

It’s simple: Support Your City. Other than that, it’s expected you abide by stadium policies and the fan code of conduct. We also ask that you follow any instructions outlined by the visiting supporter group plan. This includes, but is not limited to, arriving to agreed meeting locations on time, remaining in the designated section for the hold time after the match, and adhering to the instructions of stadium, security, and NYCFC personnel.

What happens if I request a ticket and can no longer attend?

Please reach out to awaytickets@nycfc.com right away! We will be able to refund your purchase up until the ticket close date listed here. Please note that any City Member or Supporter that does not claim his/her ticket(s) on match day will be charged for the original price of the ticket(s). Tickets that are requested and then do not use them may have future ticket requests denied.

Tickets may not be sold or transferred without the approval of NYCFC. Anyone caught doing so will be subject to discipline.

Do I have to stand and chant for the entire game (like they do in the Home Supporters Section) if I get tickets through this website?

While the answer is ‘No’, it is encouraged that you be as supportive of your club as possible. We generally have a good mix of very vocal fans and more casual fans and we love it when the home venue knows that we are there.
