Testing Protocol

To begin the season, each Guest in attendance, 2 years and older, will be required to take a PCR or rapid antigen COVID-19 test with negative results or provide proof of a COVID-19 full vaccination on each game day in order to gain entry. Please note the required timeframes associated with each option so you can plan ahead accordingly. Guests, holding valid match tickets, who cannot present proof of either a negative COVID-19 test within the required timeframes or proof of a COVID-19 full vaccination will not be allowed inside Yankee Stadium. No refunds or exchanges will be allowed if Guests are denied entry as a result of lack of COVID-19 testing or proof of full vaccination.

Option No. 1: Proof of a Negative PCR COVID-19 Test
Guests need to present proof from a healthcare provider of a negative PCR COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the day of the event you are attending along with an appropriate ID matching the name on the COVID-19 test result. See chart above for upcoming matches testing requirements.

Option No. 2: Proof of a Negative Rapid Antigen COVID-19 Test
Guests need to present proof from a healthcare provider of a negative rapid antigen COVID-19 test taken within six (6) hours of the scheduled start time of the event you are attending along with an appropriate ID matching the name on the COVID-19 test result. See chart above for upcoming matches testing requirements.

Option No. 3: Proof of a COVID-19 Full Vaccination
Guests must be fully vaccinated, which means the day of the Event you are attending must be at least 14 days after your second dose of the Pfizer-BioNtech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine or at least 14 days after your single dose of the Johnson & Johnson's Janssen COVID-19 vaccine.

COVID-19 vaccinated Guests need to provide proof of vaccination in the form of the CDC vaccination card issued or a record of vaccination from the healthcare provider who administered the vaccine along with an appropriate ID matching the name on the COVID-19 vaccination documentation. Printed COVID-19 vaccination documentation or proof of documentation displayed on your iPhone or Android phone will be accepted

 
 

Mask Requirements

All Guests two (2) years and older, including those who have received a COVID-19 vaccine, must wear a face covering over their nose and mouth at all times while visiting Yankee Stadium except when actively eating or drinking at their ticketed seats. Facial shields without an accompanying facial covering will not be permitted.

 
 

Social Distancing

To begin the season, attendance for select games will be limited to approximately 20% of the capacity of Yankee Stadium. Accordingly, we will be selling a limited number of tickets in specified temporary seating locations to select home games. In an effort to maintain New York State’s physical distancing requirements. Seating will be sold in Tickets Pods that range in size from one (1) to six (6) Guests. The majority of the Ticket Pods will be two (2) to four (4) Guests in size.

 
 

Temperature Checks

Each Guest in attendance will be required to complete temperature checks on each game day in order to gain entry.

Cleaning Procedures

Based on the WELL Health Safety Rating and Standards, enhanced cleaning and disinfecting protocols have been instituted to include public areas frequented by Guests and staff. Yankee Stadium’s cleaning tools (e.g., mops, wipes, cloths) are and will be single-use only to enhance cleaning so as to meet or exceed the ideal level of disinfection, while reducing cross-contamination.

 
 

Cashless Transactions

To reduce and avoid contact between cash and food/retail handling, all Yankee Stadium retail food and beverage locations will be cashless and will only accept credit/debit cards, advanced purchases, and touchless payments. Additionally, mobile ordering and pick up through Uber Eats will be available at select stands on the Field and Main Levels. For Guests who wish to pay with cash, cash conversion stations (e.g., reverse ATM machines) will be available at four locations throughout Yankee Stadium issuing no-fee, prepaid debit cards starting at $1 minimum denomination. The prepaid debit card can be used at any food or retail location inside the Stadium. Any remaining funds left on the prepaid debit card can be used anywhere that Mastercard is accepted.

 
 

Bag Requirements

Each Guest is welcome to bring one bag into Yankee Stadium provided the bag is soft-sided (e.g., diaper bags, small purses, etc.) and its dimensions do not exceed 16 inches by 16 inches by 8 inches. Briefcases, coolers and other hard-sided bags or containers are not permitted. All bags will be thoroughly inspected before they are permitted into the Stadium. Bag-size bins will be used at inspection points, and bags and their contents must fit without assistance, modification or adjustment. There is no storage area for any items at Yankee Stadium. To enable Guests to enter the Stadium in a more timely manner, Yankee Stadium management encourages Guests to remain aware of and comply with the bag policy, as well as consider carrying as little as possible. Please note security regulations may be amended at any time.

 
 

Stay home if...

If you feel sick or are showing COVID-19 symptons, such as fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, sore throat, congestion, nausea, comiting, diarrhea.

If you have a temperature reading above 99.9.

If you have been, or believe to have been in close contact with anyone confirmed to have tested positive for COVID-19 or is displaying any COVID-like symptoms

 
 

Stadium Modifications

Plexiglass, signage & floor markers, and other physical distancing equipment has been installed in customer contact areas. Furniture has been removed from the concourse in common areas, and every other restroom stall and sinks, with touchless faucets, will be closed in order to ensure that individual or groups of Guests on the premises maintain six (6) feet of separation from each other and avoid congestion.

Portable food carts, hawking/in-seat vending and in-seat food delivery will be suspended. And, elevator occupancy will also be restricted.

 
 

Staff Health Screenings

Your safety is of our utmost concern and as such all employees of Yankee Stadium and NYCFC will be temperature checked and appropriately health screened upon entering the Stadium. Personnel will be required to wear face coverings as part of updated uniform policies.

 
 

Concessions

Many concessions locations will remain active to continue to serve and promote physical distancing. We have updated our transaction process and item packaging to encourage a contactless, expedited service. Additionally, mobile ordering and pick up through Uber Eats will be available at select stands on the Field and Main Levels. Guests may only eat or drink in their ticketed seat and are not permitted to eat or drink while on the concourse. Face coverings are required at all times while visiting Yankee Stadium, including while in your ticketed seat, unless actively eating or drinking.
