Internationals: NYCFC Players Back in Action Tomorrow

Maxime Chanot International

Part two of World Cup Qualifiers take place this week, beginning with a Luxembourg vs Cape Verde friendly and continuing with Honduras vs Costa Rica, and Panama vs USA.

NYCFC players Maxime Chanot, Ronald Matarrita, Rodney Wallace, and Miguel Camargo are back in action this week to represent their nations. Check out the preview for tomorrow's matches below, but first we recap Luxembourg vs France and Canada U23 vs Uzbekistan from this weekend.

Luxembourg vs France

Roundup: Luxembourg put on a spirited challenge against France this weekend but ultimately fell 3-1.

France stayed clear at the top of World Cup qualifying Group A thanks to a brace from Olivier Giroud and a goal from Griezmann.

Maxime Chanot played a full 90 minutes to help his tenacious team provide a scare for the visiting team. France took the lead with an easy chance from Olivier Giroud but then quickly conceded a shock goal by Aurelien Joachim. Minutes later, Griezmann converted a penalty before Giroud scored his second.

Canada U23 vs Uzbekistan U23

Luxembourg vs Cape Verde

When: Tuesday, March 28 at 2pm ET

The Match: Maxime Chanot and the Luxembourg team return but this time to take on Cape Verde in a friendly match tomorrow. After losing to France a few days ago, Luxembourg look to redeem themselves at the Stade Alphonse Theis in Luxembourg.

Honduras vs Costa Rica

When: Tuesday, March 28 at 5pm ET

TV: NBC Universo, Universo Now, Telemundo Deportes en Vivo, fuboTV, beIN Sports Connect

The Match: Costa Rica look to bounce back in World Cup qualifier when they take on Honduras tomorrow afternoon at Estadio Francisco Morazan in Honduras.

The qualifier pits two teams who suffered losses last week in the Hexagonal. Honduras fell 6-0 to the USA after Costa Rica fell 2-0 against Mexico - a match that saw Ronald Matarrita play a full 90 minutes.

Costa Rica is one point behind Mexico and three points ahead of Honduras.

Panama vs USA

When: Tuesday, March 28 at 10:05pm ET

TV: beIN Sports, Telemundo, Universo, Telemundo Deportes en Vivo, Universo Now, fuboTV, go90, beIN Sports Connect

The Match: The USA take on Panama in Panama City Tuesday night after a mixed start to the Hex. Winning away to Honduras and managing a point at home against Mexico, Panama had a good start before losing to Trinidad & Tobago.

Miguel Camargo was on the bench against Trinidad & Tobago and hopes to get a start at tomorrow's match to help his nation get their qualifying campaign back on track at home.

Interestingly, there's also a sense of revenge here as Panama's last World Cup qualifying campaign was crushed after a late 3-2 loss to the USA in the last round of play.
