Hair Madness: Vote Now for Semifinals

Hair Madness 2017

The last four contenders in NYCFC’s Hair Madness 2017 bracket have been revealed!

You’ve been voting in your thousands to determine NYCFC’s mane man and now we’ve got a couple of fierce semifinal battles in prospect.

In the left side of the draw, it’s an all-DP encounter as the reigning champion Andrea Pirlo meets David Villa for hair-based supremacy.

On the other side of the bracket, new boys Alexander Callens and John Stertzer will contest a real clash of styles for the right to meet David or Andrea in this year’s final.

Andrea saw off the competition of Mikey Lopez for the second year in a row, running out the victor, 72% to 28%.

David’s progress was assured at Ronald Matarrita’s expense in a slightly closer cut affair, while Callens capitalized on his height advantage to see off fellow South American Yangel Herrera with the most one-sided of the showdowns.

The closest of all the matchups was between Sean Ugo Okoli and Stertzer but John’s long, flowing locks won through by a 56% majority.

Voting for the semifinals is open now through midnight on March 27, so now the power is in your hands!

We’ll let you know who gets the chop right here on NYCFC.com as we build up to the Hair Madness 2017 final.
