It’s been a good week for David Villa…
Already named to the MLS Team of the Week for his excellent performance at Yankee Stadium last weekend, now he’s received recognition internationally.
El Guaje has earned a spot in the FIFA 17 Ultimate Team of the Week which will be available from 1pm on Wednesday for seven days.
Villa scored twice against DC United to earn his berth on the team as one of three strikers along with Mauro Icardi and Memphis Depay.
He’s the only MLS player in the XI although Josef Martinez of Atlanta United does make the bench.
