New York City FC defender Maxime Chanot has been called up to play for the Luxembourg National Team.
Chanot has been added to the team that will compete in a friendly vs. Latvia on September 2nd and their first World Cup qualifying match against Bulgaria on September 6th at 3:45pm ET/8:45pm CET; the match will be played at Vasil Levski National Stadium in Bulgaria. In his career, Chanot has 21 appearances for the Luxembourg National Team, scoring his lone goal in 2014.
Chanot has played in four matches (starting three) for NYCFC this season. The defender will not miss any matches for the Club while on international duty.
