New York City FC Surpass 16,000 Season Tickets

16,000 Founding Memebers

NEW YORK CITY | New York City FC have surpassed 16,000 Founding Members with season ticket sales continuing to grow. The news comes approximately a week after the Club had another enthusiastic sellout of 27,545 supporters for the match on March 28 at Yankee Stadium.

Tom Glick, President of New York City FC, said:

“The response from our supporters has created an impressive atmosphere at Yankee Stadium, encouraging even more New Yorkers to become Founding Members of our Club and come to support their new team. New York is a legendary sports town, as well as a thriving global city that we knew would embrace our brand of soccer.”

Sporting Director Claudio Reyna commented on hitting 16,000 season tickets, saying:

“It is incredible how fast our fan base is growing. The atmosphere in the stadium has been fantastic over the first two home games, and growing our Founding Membership like this will only help build on that.”

More than 60 percent of season ticket holders are buying their first season ticket for any professional sport.

Many seating sections are sold out or nearing capacity but great options are still available for full or partial season tickets.

Fans can still become a Founding Member and get their season tickets by visiting NYCFC.com/tickets.
