Only Mikey Lopez will be on the sidelines for NYCFC’s Home Opener against DC United.
The midfielder continues his recovery from ankle surgery and is the only player unavailable for selection.
Lopez did return to the training field for some light work away from the team this week, so is making good progress on a return to action.
Jonathan Lewis has returned from the U.S CONCACAF U-20s Championships title win in Costa Rica but it remains to be seen if this game will come too soon for him to take his NYCFC bow.
For our opponents, DC will be missing Chris Odoi-Atsem, while Luciano Acosta is rated as “questionable” as he recovers from an ankle injury.
Highly-rated Homegrown midfielder Ian Harkes could debut for Ben Olsen’s side.
